Named after a poodle who can't go a day without his basketball, this is The Hoop Hound. We're a group of three writers who want to report real stories, not just regurgitated rumors, and add our voices to the discussion. Our main focus will be on football, basketball, and soccer.

Elizabeth is a lover of all things basketball whether it be the NBA, WNBA, college, or international. Growing up in Massachusetts she's been spoiled by championships. She also loves to dive into the world of weird sports like World Chase Tag, marble racing, and chess boxing.

Gabriel is an avid follower of all sports. He grew up in Nebraska and enjoyed watching every game from his beloved Huskers. Then, after moving to Germany, he learned to enjoy and appreciate soccer. Since then, you can find him watching, writing, and discussing anything from volleyball, to UFC.

Bob is an experienced writer and author with a passion for sports and sportswriting. His writing has been featured in the Boston Globe, NBCSports.com, The Sporting News, and too many other publications and sites to mention. He's also the author of the "Greatest Day" series, which includes baseball, golf, and NASCAR as well as My Greatest Day in Football.
